Hello!
We are Anya and Zhiruo, two Chinese Master’s students currently studying at the University of Bologna in Italy.

We are curious, open-minded and respectful people who enjoy meeting others and experiencing different cultures. We love travelling, hiking, photography, crafts, volunteering and discovering new ways of life. One of our favourite things is getting to know a place through everyday life—sharing meals, having meaningful conversations and connecting with local people.

We would also be delighted to share our language and Chinese culture with our hosts. We both speak fluent English and enjoy building friendships through conversation and cultural exchange.

Anya enjoys cooking Chinese food, has experience taking care of cats, and loves backpacking.

Zhiruo plays traditional Chinese musical instruments and enjoys Go, Chinese calligraphy, herbs, musical theatre and visiting museums and exhibitions. She also speaks some Italian and Japanese.

This summer, we are planning to travel around Northern Europe. We are available from July to August and would love the opportunity to stay with you, help with your project and share a wonderful experience together. We look forward to meeting you!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We can offer different kinds of help and we are both willing to take part in daily tasks with a responsible and positive attitude.

Language and cultural exchange are things we would love to share. Chinese is our native language and we both speak fluent English, so we can help with simple Chinese or English practice, language exchange, or friendly cultural activities. We would be happy to introduce Chinese culture in an easy and enjoyable way, such as basic Chinese words, Chinese home cooking, festivals, or everyday customs.

We can also help with household and everyday tasks. We are tidy, considerate and willing to help with cooking, meal preparation, washing dishes, cleaning, organising rooms or shared spaces, simple shopping, and keeping the home comfortable and orderly. We understand that small daily tasks are important in making a home or community work well.

Animal care is another area where we can help, especially with cats. Anya has experience taking care of cats, including feeding them, changing water, cleaning the litter box, spending time with them and observing their mood and habits. We would also be open to learning how to care for other gentle animals.

We can also contribute to creative, educational or companion-style activities. Angelica plays musical instruments and enjoys Chinese calligraphy, Go, handmade crafts, musicals and exhibitions. We can share simple and fun activities with children, families or community members, such as music, crafts, calligraphy, Go, photography, cultural sharing or small language games.

Finally, we are quick learners and happy to help with practical tasks. We are not professional farmers or builders, but we are willing to learn and follow instructions carefully. We can help with basic gardening, organising, simple cleaning, light physical tasks, teamwork and general daily support wherever extra hands are needed.
