Hey :D

I'm Karla.

After getting my apprenticeship in bakery and working for two years, I now want to explore the world and learn about sustainability and working and living together with nature, not against it.

Currently, I am woking to de-center consumption in my life and try to appreciate the things I have, not the ones I could buy.

It's very interesting to me how different people from different backgrounds work towards and achive those goals, so I may learn to incorporate them into my own life.

My whole life, I have lived on farms or in rural areas, but I do love to explore a new city.

I love good tea and conversations, exploring a new area by bike, reading with cats and swapping stories around a fireplace as the night settles in.

Right now, I am fluent in English and German and looking to learn Spanish and French.
I am always happy to help people learn baking, start a sourdough and create or improve recipies :D

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am a fully trained baker and have worked with wood and elecric ovens.

I have lived a DIY life my whole life - anything you can fix yourself doesn't cost you- this attitude has helped me pick up various repair and cleaning skills around the house.

I have two siblings and was in charge of our bakery's schedule at times, so communicating both within a team as well as one on one is something i am experienced in.
