Description
Hi there! My name is Kim, and I am a 23 year old teacher. I will be in New Zealand December-February with the intention of making lasting connections, exploring NZ, and helping out with as many projects as I can along the way!
I enjoy all things outdoors--running, kayaking, working with plants and animals. I love to spend time with others (whether that be working on projects, going for hikes, or just chatting), but am also quite content working and exploring on my own or reading a good book at home.
I graduated from university in 2022 with a degree in education, and have been working with adults and children with disabilities since then. I thrive in situations where I can continue developing my patience, problem-solving, and people skills! I love getting to know new people and making connections through shared work and meaningful conversation.
I traveled to New Zealand in 2019, and have been wanting to be back ever since! My previous visit was during the winter--I'm thrilled to experience all NZ has to offer in the summertime :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I have extensive experience working collaboratively with other people, learning new skills on the job, and adapting as conditions change. I also have experience providing in-home care for adults with disabilities, so I have experience cooking, cleaning, and do other work tasks in the home.
I have some experience gardening and landscaping, and am fit for physical labor. I grew up with goats, as well as a variety of house-pets, so I am able to help care for a wide range of animals. I also have some experience caring for chickens, cows, and sheep.
I am a skilled planner, and will be able to help with any organizational and/or creative pursuits you may have.
More than anything, I am self-motivated, independent, and excited to help with projects!
