Description
I'm a fit and active woman in her 50's originally from a Scottish island. I'm now at a stage in my life that I'm looking for a challenge. Something completely different. My children have grown up so it's time for me to travel, meet new people, experience new cultures and food.
Over the years I have had my own businesses mainly in food and hospitality, so I have plenty of transferable skills. I have also renovated various properties so I have basic DIY skills (painting, wallpapering, tiling, etc.) I love interior design and upcycling. I spent many years in a property that required a lot of upkeep internally and externally so not scared of hard work.
I am interested in learning new skills in horticultural, and would love to bring food to table. -

Keren is a gorgeous, interesting lady with a lovely Scottish lilt. I could have listened to her for hours! We instantly got on and she fitted in beautifully with our other Workaways. She was a great help, both inside and outside the house - she certainly doesn't mind getting stuck in and is surprisingly strong!

Katie and Iain were the most wonderful and very kind hosts. They made you feel like part of the family and their team from the very start. We enjoyed eating together and many games after dinner. ♠️

Keren is a enthusiastic, fun loving woman who is up for any task.
She is both independent and good company.
We agreed to extend her stay as she was both helpful and easy to get along with.
She did a variety of tasks on the land from pruning to painting and shovelling shingle on the building site.
I would recommend her to other hosts.
She is both independent and good company.

What a wonderful experience I have had with Harmony, Jorge and the girls. They all made me feel really welcome from start to finish. The yoga retreat was beautiful, relaxing and scenic.

Keren was great, full of life and vitality and a great person to have with us! She was a great companion for my mother, she undertook some projects around the house (painting, pressure washing, etc.), is also an accomplished chef and prepared some very tasty meals, and despite her short time with us she really became part of the family.

I'm not sure where to start but I had the most wonderful experience. The family made me feel so welcome and part of their family from the start. The 3 children were incredibly well mannered and sweet. Even their dogs were perfect and joined me for breakfast every morning.
