Les activités qui m'intéressent :

I love getting a little lost - whether it be in a good book, views while hiking, or in a conversation, I love being present and connecting. I like that Workaway makes those moments more frequent.

Description

After studying and years of work I realized I wanted to take some time and learn some lessons out of class! I've always loved little projects, using my hands, and learning different ways to live and work. I'm hoping to help out in any way physically/mentally possible and learn more about different people and cultures.

Caring Experience: babysitter and tutor for many years; Red Cross and Ellis lifeguard; & children's swimming instructor

Building Experience: indoor/ outdoor painting; building a stone firepit, deck, and furniture; & insulating a garage

Art Experience: Dance for ~15 years (ballet, jazz, tap, modern); intermediate piano player and singer; & amateur painter (small landscapes)

Horticultural Experience: classes/ labs on plant/soil science and pest management; planting vegetables and flowers; & pruning plants and trees

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

A ton of different jobs have helped me build an open mind, good communication, and perseverance.

I'm very organized and thorough from working in a research lab and as a secretary. I formed pretty solid teamwork skills and communication from working on the house with my parents. I have also volunteered for years as a math and reading tutor so I like to think I am pretty approachable and adaptable to a bunch of different jobs :)

In my home projects I have done painting, staining, sanding, wood working, clearing out wooded areas, gardening, and using power tools. I am happy to learn more skills though!
