We are a quirky Australian/Colombian couple with 6 years of friendship and love behind us. After living in Colombia most recently on the beautiful Caribbean coast we decided to leave and embark on a new journey together beginning in South East Asia. We are a diverse free spirited vegetarian/pescatarian couple who embrace the beauty of the unknown and the magic of love. We enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, snorkelling, biking and swimming. Neither of us are afraid of jumping in to try new things which is why we feel that the Workaway community is a great fit for us.

Kate has a background in Tourism/Hospitality and Event Management which she left behind ten years ago to explore the world. She has traveled extensively teaching English along the way ( 3 years in Colombia and 2 years in Spain) Kate also has extensive experience working within the Australian Ski Industry both as a Snow Sports Technician and Instructor.

Kata has a Masters of Visual Arts whose work is based on the expansion of consciousness. Her background is digital art/animation. She spent 5 years in the Colombian mountains drinking Ayahuasca with Ingano/Cofan Shamans. She has also done healing work with Rapeh (tobacco), Kambo (frog medicine) and Sananga. Around the same time she began practicing Yoga and Meditation in a Hare Krishna temple.
On a professional artistic level she has worked with DJ's and musicians creating animated visuals for Techno and Psytrance. She has worked with Record Labels around the world creating psychedelic visual content.
