Hey together!

My Name is Kalina (this is my Slavic nickname - that‘s the reason why you can‘t see it directly on my profile). I’m 25 years old and I love to travel in a unconventional way. At the moment I live in Leipzig, Germany.

Last year I travelled for half a year only by bike and train in diverse countries in Europe - I only slept in my tent or at local people‘s places which I found via BeWelcome. Here you also can find some reviews from people that hosted me.

My friends and family keep on saying that I‘m a person that gives them a lot of good vibes and motivation. I do have a lot of energy to give - Mostly I spend it for little everyday adventures or to help people out. 🙌

For this year I‘m looking for a new way to travel and to be near people that live in the countries I visit. I would love to have some tasks while staying in foreign countries and learn something new from the locals (about the country or the culture for example) . That‘s why I searching for a Workaway host.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Animals:
I grew up with different pets. Especial with cats, and smaller ones like rabbits. I also have some experience with farm animals like goats, ponys, horses and chickens. I could take care of these animals after a short introduction.

Crafting:
I‘m interested in different kinds of crafting tasks. I really like to work with wood and I do have experiences in doing bigger DIY projects at home. Things I haven’t done yet I would also very much like to learn.

Babysitting:
I have often looked after my sister's children aged 5 and 10. I enjoy the energy of children and I like to do activities with them. People often tell me I make a nice and interesting impression on their children and that they like me very much because of my charisma.

Household:
If you need help with doing the household I can support you with doing tasks like doing the laundry and the dishes, cleaning the apartment and bathroom, tidying up etc.

Gardening:
I have also already helped with gardening in my grandparents' garden - I‘m not afraid to get my hands dirty ((:

All in all I would say I‘m a committed person that likes to learn new things and doing physically tasks.

Sport:
Physical movement is a very important thing in my life. At the moment I cycle a lot but I like other sports (table tennis, volleyball etc.) as well although I‘m not a professional in these sports (;

Art:
I‘m also a very creative person that is interested in art in general. Next to creating art I like to visit exhibitions and like to learn more about the local art especially such as street art.
