Description
I'm currently transitioning from a chemist to a farmer and want to experience the world while doing it. My main goals are to learn of the culture, language (French, for now), and people where I am staying, as well as sustainable growing and energy strategies. I am very interested in learning about permaculture and medicinal herbs.

Other areas of interest are water purification, carpentry, building, working with animals, environmental maintenance and restoration, and spreading my knowledge with hosts and other Workawayers.

Hobbies: Music (see skills), Frisbee, Hockey, Rock Climbing, Reading.

I feel weird saying this, but feel it needs to be said: No, I do not support Trump or his administration :)

In addition to the skills above, I am also a very good communicator (8 years bartender, 2 years teacher with excellent reviews). This makes me well adapted to meeting new people and working as a team if that skill happens to be required. Had an all around amazing experience. The work was mostly processing felled trees to fire wood or chips, so physical yet straightforward and fun for me because of how different it was. Jeremy is a thoughtful positive young strong man and keen worker. Easily learns how to use machinery (log splitter, hydraulic feed chipper, working on the chain saw) and works well as part of a team as well as solo. Good personality.
Highly recommended.
