Description

Hi! Our names are Julie and Maty😊
We are both students from the Czech Republic. I'm 19-year-olds currently finishing grammar school and planning to study to become a teacher or psychologist. Working with people is something I truly enjoy and feel passionate about. Maty is 18-year-old and plans to study jazz music and philosophy.

I would describe myself as kind, patient, creative, and responsible. I enjoy coming up with activities for kids, whether it’s games, arts and crafts, or helping them learn languages in a fun way. Maty would describe himself as lively, enthusiastic and artistic. We both love learning about new cultures, languages, and ways of life, and we are always curious to try new things. Traveling for us is not just about seeing places, but about connecting with people and gaining meaningful experiences.

I have experience with teaching languages to both children and elderly people and leading educational children’s groups. I truly enjoys my time with them. I also worked as a bartender. Maty taught little kids spanish and often performs live with his band "nixies".

A big part of our life is music and performing. Maty plays guitar, piano, saxophone, flute and sings. He is in a multiple bands and sometimes plays acoustic mini jazz concerts in our local vinery. I have been singing in a choir for many years and performed in theatre productions and operas since I was a little kid.

In our free time, we enjoy nature, gardening, and taking care of animals. We both grew up with pets and younger siblings, so we are very comfortable around them.

We are happy to help with childcare, household tasks, daily routines, teach some music or languages. We always try to bring positive energy, creativity, and reliability into the home.
We are really excited to become part of a family, share experiences, and create a warm and friendly connection :)

We would love to learn any new languages! Juli has the C1 Cambridge certificate in english and she is also currently teaching it so she would be more than happy to share her knowledge, either of english or czech and Maty was 6th in english in European english competition.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I (Juli) teach languages to the elderly and lead/teach educational children groups which i enjoy greatly. I also have experience working as a bartender in a Café. In my free time I sing in the Kajetán Choir, we have won many awards in competitions across the globe. I also sing in the Pilsner theatre choir, thanks to that I performed in theatre productions and operas since i was a little kid. We have a garden with many different plants and I love gardening. I am also used to working with pets, we have a dog and a turtle. I love to do crafts/DIY and be creative in general! And I'am always down to cook and bake some yummy food.

Maty is pretty skilled at music. He played many instruments since he was little (guitar, piano, flute, saxophone). He performs with his bands in music clubs/graduations or plays solo in cafes and vineries. He taught spanish in language school to kids. In his free time he often writes plays or short stories. One of his theater plays was picked up by our local acting group and won the artistic competition arts poetica. He loves his dog.
