Description

Hey! I'm Julien, a master's student looking for new experiences and to meet people from everywhere during holidays. Besides my studies, I give my time to various associations (such as Erasmus Student Network) and participate in the organisation of festivals. As I love to travel and I've been studying in the UK for the past year, it's natural for me to be eager to volunteer in other countries. I look forward to meeting you and sharing new experiences! 🌞

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

🧸 Looking after young people and imagining activities: I've passed the French youth worker diploma (with a 'supervise stays abroad' specialisation) and have had many experiences as a holiday camp activity leader. I had the opportunity to supervise mountain sports with kids (hiking, treetop course) during some summer camps in which I have worked!

🛶 Sea sport supervision & customer service: Additionally, I worked as a beach boy in a beach club in Malta, where I had to manage kayak and paddleboat rentals, put them on the water and help the customers in case there was an issue. I was also in charge of taking food and drink orders and serving them.

🩹 First aid: I’ve passed the first aid training certificate. I also passed on trainings to help people in mental distress or to react against sexual violence.

🪩 Event organisation: participation in the organisation of student parties, the end-of-the-year university ball or even a small student festival!

🏨 Through temporary staffing assignments, I also have experience in: reception work at hostels / handling (luggage, construction sites) / hotel cleaning / bartending.

📲 Communication on social media: I can easily use social media or Canva, and I did a bit of the communication for my student’s association as well as during an internship.

I’m social and very comfortable with teamwork. That’s not exhaustive, but I’d love to learn new skills!!
