Hi, I am Jovana, a hard-working and adventurous soul ready to travel, meet new people and learn new languages. When I was 23, I finished my higher education and realized that I needed more intercultural experiences before I settled in somewhere I could call my home. Working with people and for people is my passion, and I am ready to be proactive, and helpful and show you all my skills. I am a workaholic (I have more than 7 years of work experience at the age of 24), so do not be weirded out by my work-oriented behavior. Besides my business personality, I have various hobbies and interests. I enjoy discovering new music, being in touch with various types of art, painting, and dancing (I was an afro, shuffle, and hip-hop dancer). The artistic side of my personality allows me to broaden my creativity and apply it in everyday environments.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

For seven years, I have been working in the NGO sector. For all those years I perfected my knowledge of English language since I that was my working language. I tried myself in the roles of public relations, design, project implementation, and coordination, as well as policy analysis. My last job experience was a Policy Analyst internship in Brussels. I am interested in communications, public relations, and content-making for social media since I have perfected my skills in Adobe Package (Illustrator and Premiere Pro mostly). I worked as a Public Relations Associate for 6 months where I got my communication and content creation skills. Prior, I worked as a short-term graphic designer.

From a young age, I was a part of the European Youth Parliament organization which allowed me to travel around Europe (mostly solo) to be a youth educator. Thus, I visited most of the European countries and got a lot of multicultural experiences. I consider myself a world citizen, and I am really passionate about getting more travel experiences. Moreover, I traveled a bit through Africa (Tanzania, Tunisia, Morrocco) and Asia.

A year ago, I got my Master's Degree in Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law, besides that, I am a graduate political scientist in international relations. I graduated in the Faculty of Political Science, University in Belgrade. I have a Cambridge English Advanced diploma, and other language certificates (Spanish B1 and Italian A1).

I am really a proactive person who traveled a lot and met a great number of interesting people. I would love to get a new experience where I can help out and learn some new skills. I am raised in a hard-working family, so offering extra help has always been a part of my personality.

I am quite an artistic soul. In my free time I paint with acrylic paints and I do photography. I finished a course on professional photography, but I love old, vintage film cameras. Moreover, I am a dancer. I can teach you how to dance afro, shuffle or hip-hop. My passion for music extends on making some music, so I also know how to be a DJ and mix some tracks! Besides that, I am really social, I love to be with people, talk, exchange experiences, help out around the house and have small after-meal talks. I would also love to learn how to cook some good meals that are traditional for my destination country, I can also bake and make really great desserts, so you are in for a treat!
