Hi, I’m Josie! I grew up on a homestead in the mountains of North Carolina, USA. I have a degree in biology, so I’m happiest when I’m outdoors, learning how things work and getting my hands dirty. I love to travel! There is nothing better than sharing a meal with new people and hearing their stories while immersing myself in a different way of life. I love bringing a positive, curious attitude to whatever team or project I'm joining, and I'm always excited to learn new skills!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I’m a natural hard worker and love new projects! Because I grew up on a homestead with farm animals and large gardens, I’m comfortable with physical labor, basic animal care, and gardening. I also have a bachelor’s degree in biology, which makes me a quick, curious learner when it comes to any nature or eco-projects. I am very passionate about sustainability and being a steward to the Earth.

On the people side of things, I spent two years giving university tours and working in admissions, so I’m great with customer service, welcoming guests, and public speaking. I've also spent two summers as a camp counselor, meaning I have tons of patience, high energy, and love working with kids. Whether you need help in the garden, running a reception desk, or keeping kids entertained, I’m happy to help!

I have a Wilderness First Responder Certification in addition to Lifeguard and CPR Certifications.
