Hey, I'm Jonny from London, UK. I'm super laid back and easy to get along with. I work hard and enjoy meeting new people and having funny experiences together. My main hobbies are music making and silly game playing, so would be cool to bond with others who are similar. I love animals and I am a bit of a thrill seeker sometimes. I'm a very liberal guy and hope to meet similar people on my travels.

I grew up in the English countryside and spent most of my childhood in nature. I have a degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in environment and development studies, hence I have learned a lot about sustainable development and environmental justice. I have since worked in politics and in law focusing on environmental and human rights issues. I am a very strong writer and reasonably good statistician.

I am looking for opportunities to learn new skills, experience alternative ways of living, and meet interesting people. I'd love to be a part of community projects which foster creativity in their approach to problems and inclusivity with local communities and the natural habitat. I understand that many of these positions will involve some difficult manual work, and I am keen to be involved in this way. I am very fit and healthy (and rather tall); hence I will be able to help with any sort of strenuous manual labor. However, I am also keen to be involved in any administrative, research, teaching or creative positions that may be available.

Ultimately, I am very keen for any opportunity that presents itself. I am confident, respectful, and independent. I thrive on new experiences, and I have a lot to offer future hosts as well as a lot to learn.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Communication/Interpersonal - I have excellent communication skills having worked a number of customer service roles in the past.

Animal Care - I have been around animals my entire life and have also spent a lot of time on my cousin's farm. I have experience living with dogs and cat as well as and tending to a variety of farm animals.

Gardening - I have previously worked as a gardener.

Music/Art - I am keen musician and amateur artist with experience running and working in events and installations.

Sport - I am a keen sportsman with particular skill in tennis, badminton, squash, table tennis, swimming, cycling, hiking, football, and skateboarding.

Writing - I hold a master's degree in environment and development studies and have written extensively on various issues relating to environmental justice, economics, and social policy.

Statistics - I have studied statistics throughout university.

Excel - strong Excel skills and ability to create, maintain, and organise complex datasheets.

Copywriting - I have experience in copywriting gained from employment in political communications, and events management.

Photography - I am a pretty good photographer with experience using Adobe Suite to edit pictures. Keen to learn how to edit videos too!

Dancing - I am the son of a dance teacher so I love dancing despite not necessarily being great at it.

Bartending - I have worked as a supervisor at a very busy bar in London.
