Hello everyone! I'm Jessica, 25 years old, and I love to travel, especially to explore new cultures. Since my first volunteering program in Africa, specifically in Namibia, I've developed a deep affection for the continent (there is no place like Africa). Ever since then, all my solo travels have been to Africa. I've also fallen in love with the nature and national parks of Africa. The people there are just incredible, and I cherish everyone I meet.

I love working with children and have been teaching tennis to children here in Switzerland for 7 years. I really enjoy working with them because they can show a lot of love and their curiosity is a source of constant learning for me. And when you joke with them, you always have a smile on your face, which makes the day perfect. But also the trust that they give you is something very nice in my opinion.😊

I started playing tennis when I was 4 years old and played it on a professional level until I was 17, and then decided to focus more on my school career. Tennis has been a profound teacher for me, providing me with both challenges and triumphs. Amidst the ups and downs, I have celebrated significant victories - I became Swiss champion five times, represented my country three times at the European Team Championships and won various international tournaments at TE's or ITF's. This also includes experiences such as moving to a sports boarding school at the age of 12 and later moving to an Olympic sports center in Austria at the age of 16. These experiences taught me to stand on my own two feet at an early age.

In addition to my passion for travel and tennis, I'm currently studying business administration with a focus on sports management, and I will finish my degree in September 2024.

I consider myself a very open person, always smiling, and I love helping others.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I was able to gain a lot of experience in marketing when I managed the marketing and communication of volleyball clubs. This also included managing the social media channels.

I am also very familiar with the tourism industry thanks to my many trips. During my internship at Swiss International Air Lines, I was able to gain valuable experience in human resources and learn a lot about tourism. - I am therefore no stranger to administrative tasks :)

I am currently working independently in the field of athlete management, where I look for sponsors for athletes and create newsletters, sponsor dossiers, and websites. I was also able to give a workshop about social media and how the algorithm for finding sponsors for young athletes works.

But I also help out wherever help is needed.
