My name is Jenevieve! I am originally from Texas, USA (howdy) and in September 2025 I started my year long travels. I am 19 years old. I love learning new things and embracing new cultures and people! I am very creative and extremely optimistic :)
In my spare time I paint, draw, read, and write. I enjoy playing soccer (futbol), tennis, and pickleball. I love rock climbing and trying other sports although I don't get to do them as often. I also like to hike as often as I can, run, skateboard, longboard, wakeboard, and do yoga. I love doing all sorts of art, but I love ceramics and drawing the most!
I love being surrounded by warm and happy people!
I would definitely call myself a go-getter and I rarely sit with nothing to do. I am a social butterfly so I love to make conversation with people and hang out no matter what we are doing! I value honesty, trust, and family. I love to learn about and experience new things, so I'm very excited for my work away experiences!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have seven siblings, so I'm great with kids and people. I’ve worked in the restaurant industry for the past four years as a cook, and now as a server, and have had my fair share of babysitting experience. I play sports, so I'm physically fit and active every day. I'm creative and good at art, DIY projects, and problem-solving. I have hands-on experience working in a greenhouse and in highschool I was involved in FFA, which taught me valuable agricultural skills. I was also in FBLA, which improved my leadership skills, along with many other things. I have volunteered many times in my community throughout my life and I plan to continue doing that now and in the future. I have photography skills and website design skills. I have competed and won contests for both of those skills. I am very adaptable and I enjoy picking up new hobbies and learning new ways of doing things.

I am new to this so I’d love any advice or tips you have for me about traveling!
I am open to trying pretty much anything, and I’m a fast learner!
I love to smile and I love to make other people smile :)
A couple things I am very interesting in learning about: beekeeping, caring for and riding horses, water sports, sailing/boating, winter sports, any kind of art such as stained glass or murals, new dishes to cook, woodworking/carpentry, religions, cultural norms and differences, and any instrument but especially guitar ;)
