Hi, I'm Jason! I love cooking, writing, making music, learning languages, and connecting authentically with people. I'm an uncle to four young kids that I love spending time with (6 months-5 years old). One of the pictures on my profile is with my niece and nephew and my brother. I also love cats! The picture I have of a cat on my shoulder is from when I worked at a cat shelter :)

My dream workaway:
Staying with a host family who I can learn language and local cooking skills from
Connecting with people who live life differently than I do (including kids!)
In or near a city with a vibrant history and opportunities to explore nearby

I grew up in an environment where everything was stressful and fast, and it felt like there was never enough time for everything. Over time, I realized now how unhappy that made me. In the last few years, I've been deliberately slowing myself down and learning to appreciate the small moments of the present. Now I'm experiencing how much happier that makes me :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Great with all housekeeping tasks! Cleaning, cooking, laundry, etc. I also have basic carpentry and maintenance skills, and I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty! If there's a skill I don't have, I'm happy to learn it :)

Great with kids! I love spending time with my little nieces and nephews, and generally I get along pretty well with people of all ages.
