We are a married couple from Michigan, USA. We are currently exploring/working in New Zealand where we recently finished hiking Te Araroa - a 3000+ km 5 month walk the length of New Zealand :)

Description

Being outdoors gives us joy. We love hiking - Trevor hiked the PCT in 2023 and we both hiked Te Araroa in 2025, each taking about 5 months to complete. Trevor enjoys trying new things and problem solving, and is motivated by food and a good sunrise/sunset! Sydney is a trained yoga teacher and loves writing and reading.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Trevor has helped build his sister's log house - cut trees, shave the bark off, stain the logs, hoist them up and drill rebar into them until her house was left standing. I have also helped my other sister renovate her home - lots of drywall, sanding, framing and so on. I have volunteered 3 weeks in Boundary Waters National Park building cabins, decks, and canoe racks, and a whole lot of hauling lumber.
We have done gardening work together, with dreams to have our own garden mid 2026 and want to learn more about both permaculture and organic gardening before building our own.
Sydney is a 500 hour trauma-informed yoga teacher.
We are both fit, love to be outdoors, quick to learn new things, and easily entertained.

We have our next adventure planned - to bike the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route, but we don't have mountain biking experience yet, but we are stoked! Besides that, we love board games, reading, and running around outside.
