Description

Hello, my name is Janne, I‘m 21 years old and live in the beautiful Münster in Germany.
After school, I did a gap year during which I traveled a lot. Among other things, I was in Iceland for an environmental project, on an Interrail tour in France and Spain and as a volunteer travel companion for people with disabilities in various parts of Germany. I've been studying psychology for a year and a half now and have only been on short trips during the semester break. But I'm starting to get wanderlust again and would like to spend the summer abroad for a bit longer.
I love being connected to nature, taking care of animals, interacting with people, but still enjoying the quiet life in the countryside.
Besides my studies, I enjoy being creative like painting or knitting, making music and trying out different sports, especially while being outside in nature.
While traveling via workaway, I‘d love to meet inspiring people, learn from their experience, develop new skills and create memories for life. :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

During my last workaway stay, I took care of children, cooked and did the housework. Overall, I have a lot of experience with children through babysitting, tutoring and my current internship in a psychotherapeutic clinic for children. I also have some experience with animals, as my family has rabbits and I used to ride horses. In general, I like to get in touch with people and make sure that they have a good time. That‘s why I really enjoyed doing different service jobs in the last years!
It‘s also a goal of mine to live as sustainably and in harmony with nature as possible. That's why I'd like to develop my gardening skills so that I can grow and process my own fruit and vegetables later on.
My smaller talents are cooking, baking, singing and photography, which I like to do in my free time.
Overall, I would say that I am a very harmonious person, I can work independently, I love being with other people but also enjoy spending time alone. I‘m good at planning things and am always willing to learn new skills!
