Hi! We are Kevin and Jackie (a couple's account)

Kevin:

I am in my gap year before medical school and am looking to have some fun and learn new skills during this time! I really love the outdoors/nature and am up for any and all adventures! I am an ultra-marathoner, climber, meditator, soccer player and hiker. I really enjoy getting my hands dirty and taking ownership over my work so I can really contribute to any project I am put on. Being a part of a tight-knit community is also really important to me so I am always looking to connect with others! Looking forward to meeting in person!

Jackie:

I am a scientific journalist who works remotely. I love traveling and meeting new people, so I thought Workaway would be the perfect place to do both! I am a writer by trade, but also have a degree in Biology and am interested in anything science related. I really enjoy learning new things and am excited to work on all different projects—in the garden, artistic projects, working with kids, carpentry... anything and everything! I can't wait to get started.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We are both very excited to learn as many new skills as we can and we are very quick learners! We have experience with all kinds of household and outdoor care—maintaining a home, cooking, cleaning—but have never worked on a real farm. We are both pretty handy, but just need to develop some of the skills to be experts. We studied chemistry and biology in school so are quick to understand science. We are willing to work in many different environments and are both self-starters who are motivated to improve any project we are put on! We are very eager to start learning and working.
