Hi/hola/здрасти! :)

We are Ivana and Estrella, two friends living in Spain. We are 18 and just graduated from high school. Currently, we are taking the year off before starting university, with the aim of experiencing a taste of life and opening our horizons through new adventures and exciting connections.
We live in Alcalá de Henares, a small historical city near Madrid so we are familiar with the city lifestyle, but also with the local nature. We have travelled together several times, one being in an exchange with students from Germany.

Our friendship runs back to primary school and we have lived countless moments that have truly brought us together. Ultimately, we realized we make a pretty good team and that we also share the thirst for something different.

We want to step out of our comfort zone and we believe that workawaying is a great way to do so! For as long as we can remember we have looked for a close encounter with other ways of living. We are not searching for a touristic experience but for an opportunity to exchange knowledge, skills and stories. Our goal is to make enriching experiences abroad and to help others providing all our energy and enthusiasm.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

There is no skill that we master perfectly because our young age limits our experience but it is compensated by our motivation to learn.
However, we are willing to try and learn from anything in order to help you :))
Some things we have experience in are:
- Taking care of children, as both of us have always helped out in our family.
- Teaching! Currently we are giving english lessons to children from all ages.
- Helping out with tasks around the house, just as we would do in ours.
- DIY tasks that involve creativity and manual work.
- Basic sewing skills (by hand or by machine).
- We are good with animals :)
