Description

Hello! We are a Spanish couple (from Cartagena and Barcelona), we met while traveling in Australia and have been together ever since.
We currently live in a van in New Zealand, an amazing country where we have fallen in love with the mountains and landscapes (even though we are sea people), working at different jobs and traveling around the country.
For now, we want to continue living the nomadic life we've led until now, being content with little, meeting people, learning, enjoying nature, and, if possible, staying as close to the sea as possible.
We both grew up by the sea, we dive, fish (or try to😅), surf... and that's what drives us most.
Eric studied electronic engineering and is a handyman; he can fix anything. He has also worked as a surf instructor and is very good at teaching.
I, on the other hand, have always been very motivated by helping people. I studied social work and was working in that field until I decided to go traveling. I am also a recreation and leisure instructor, a scout, and I love children. I also take photos.
We are very curious and restless people, we like to learn new things, we like all sports and animals and plants (we know quite a lot about them).
We also know how to do DIY and we like making things and doing crafts (Eric is great at it).
And last but not least, we are very good cooks and, above all, we love to eat😋
We are looking for our next destination after New Zealand and we would love that destination to be an island in the Pacific.
We have never tried this way of traveling before, but we are looking forward to doing so. I believe we have a lot to offer wherever we go, and we have a lot to learn from those who welcome us into their homes. We don't need luxuries, nor do we want them!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

My name is Eric, from Barcelona, Spain.
I’m a 32 year old electronics engineer, that has been living and travelling mainly in Australia and Asia for the last 4 years. Would describe myself as handyman since i have always been good building and designing different things. Besides working as an engineer, and a surf coach I also have had a lot of experience in different roles during my time abroad, so I consider myself someone that can do almost anything! In my free time I always loved surfing, skiing, skateboarding, but my place to be has always been the ocean. In the recent years I learned a lot of ocean skills and hobbys such as freediving, scuba diving, fishing and spearfishing, and I absolutely love it.
On the human side I have always been a person that loves to share my knowledge (i’ve been told a lot that I’m a good teacher haha), but always open to learn from everyone and would love to keep learning from other people, cultures and experiences.

As extra hobbys, Isa loves to find shells on the beach and make jewellery with them. She also would like to start making pictures underwater, it’s a dream.
Eric loves build and fix surfboards, actually he has his own workshop. He also likes to find shells for Isa😋
