Hey, my name is Isabel, I'm 23 years old and living in Germany. At the moment I'm studying sociology in Hamburg.
I did my first backpacking solo trip in 2022, when I travelled to Costa Rica and immediately fell in love with this way of traveling. I really like to meet new people and think the cultural exchange, which is happening within interactions during trips like this are enriching and one can learn so much of it. Combining this exchange with working is in my opinion very interesting because you do do not only profit of the social interaction, you even expand your working skills and spend your time well. For sure things like this bring me a lot of happiness, nevertheless I try to seek happiness in even the smallest things, like listening to music, spending time with my friends or just being outside and enjoying nature.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

My working experiences and expertises surely lay in working with people. I spent a lot of time working in a bakery and other events, where you interact constantly with many different persons. While working it is important for me to stay structured and help the others as much as possible. Furthermore I could collect some experience at workaways with working in a guesthouse, doing animal care and work around the house, as well with working as a receptionist in a hostel.
