Hello! My name is Isabelle.

I’m an open-minded, laid-back, and straightforward person. I am very organized—in both cleanliness and planning—as well as adaptable. I would describe myself as a free spirit, playful, and outgoing; and curious, thoughtful, and patient. I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty! I am generous with my time and effort.

I love going on adventures and exploring the outdoors. I also love spending time with people and animals. One of my favorite memories involves sitting by a campfire at night, talking and getting to know my companions. My favorite hobbies include reading and writing; practicing jiu-jitsu; doing arts and crafts; hiking; and listening to music or singing.

I am motivated by my desire to see and do new things; to learn and explore; and to connect with other interesting people, share our knowledge, and form a supportive community. Storytelling and being outdoors bring me happiness. I am an advocate for animal welfare, conservation, and sustainability. I also care deeply about community and the availability of public spaces and resources, and have a strong sense of justice.

I have experience with gardening/farming, cleaning, construction, trail/lawn maintenance, and animal care.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have worked as a petsitter/housesitter, cashier, server, archives intern, and a private math tutor. I used to regularly volunteer at my local public library; and owned a small "Farm Fresh Eggs" business with free-range chickens.

I have experience with building projects using both power tools and hand tools; kayaking, hiking, and camping; and have gone spelunking and rock climbing. I would consider myself knowledgeable in animal care, cleaning, arts and crafts, and design and editing.

I have strong mathematical and memorization skills; as well as problem-solving and communication. I am a diligent and resourceful worker with attention to detail. Collaborating with others comes naturally, and I'm a good team player, but I'm just as able to work independently. I am capable of multi-tasking and working in a fast-paced environment. A quick learner, I'm decisive and resistant to stress.

I am an undergraduate student currently pursuing a B.A. in English with a concentration in Creative Writing. I have been studying Spanish for six years.
