Hi! I’m Irene, a 24-year-old Italian from Florence. Travelling has always been a big part of my life and I have lived abroad twice: in Finland and in Spain. Now, I’m about to visit Australia for the first time and I couldn’t be more excited!

I am completing my Master’s degree in Management and have some time before starting my first full-time job. I see this as the perfect moment to live something different, give a hand, learn new things, and meet interesting people.

My friends would describe me as the "planner" of the group: always organizing trips, keeping track of ideas, and making sure everything runs smoothly. But for this new chapter, I’m happy to go with the flow and say “yes” to new experiences and activities, even outside my comfort zone.

I enjoy running, watching TV series (I’m always up for good recommendations!), and trying new restaurants with friends. I’m curious, respectful, and happy to contribute wherever I can. Looking forward to sharing stories and good energy!

I’m fluent in Italian and English and would be happy to help others practice or learn either language. I can get by in Spanish and would love the chance to improve it by speaking more! In the past, I’ve also studied some Chinese, French, and Finnish (especially when I lived in Finland), but I only know the basics. I really enjoy language exchange and believe it’s one of the best ways to connect with people and cultures.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have an academic background in Economics and Management and have worked in both marketing and sales roles. I'm very organized and detail-oriented, and I’ve often been trusted with planning and admin-related tasks. In fact, I was elected Secretary General of a 100+ members student association and have been a student representative for several years.

On a more practical level, I’m happy to help with daily tasks! I can babysit, clean, and I’m currently working on improving my cooking skills. I’ve also worked as a student assistant and have experience engaging with both children and teenagers.

I speak Italian and English fluently, and have a basic knowledge of Spanish. I’m comfortable supporting with language practice, organizing activities, or just helping where needed. Whether it’s contributing to a project or helping out around the house, I’m reliable, enthusiastic, and quick to adapt.
