Hi! I’m Federica, 27, from Italy. A few months ago I decided to quit my office job and finally listen to that little voice in my head saying “go explore the world!” — so here I am, ready for at least six months of slow travel, meeting people and living places rather than just visiting them.

I’m good with plants and gardening, and I’m definitely an animal lover — pets, farm animals, wildlife, I’m happy around all of them. I’m a super social and outgoing person, I love connecting with others and I’m always up for a chat, a laugh or a new adventure. I’ve already travelled solo before and every hostel I stayed in somehow became a little temporary home.

I speak Italian and English, I adapt easily, and I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty or try something new. I value freedom, respect and genuine human connections — that’s why I think Workaway is the perfect way to travel.

I can teach Italian to the best of my ability. I can also teach English – I have a C1 level (Cambridge CAE Advanced certificate) – but to be honest, I’d recommend learning it from someone who doesn’t have my Italian accent! 😄

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Animal care – I’ve always been surrounded by animals and I know how to take care of cats, dogs and small pets.

Childcare – I have been babysitting my whole life and I’m especially experienced with babies.

Gardening & plant care – I can take care of plants and gardens and keep outdoor spaces tidy and healthy.

Computer skills – I have strong digital skills and I’m very comfortable with technology. I’m used to working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), email management, online tools and basic administrative tasks.

Organizational & management abilities – In my previous job I organized training courses, so I’m great at planning, coordination and time management.

Teamwork & public relations – I enjoy working with people, I’m a good communicator and I adapt easily to different environments. I have experience dealing with the public and I always keep a friendly, positive attitude.
