Hello! My name is Hiwot and I am an Ethiopian-Canadian that loves learning about different cultures. I have a background in nutrition so living a holistic and healthy lifestyle is very important to me. Some of my hobbies include tennis, reading, gardening, and volunteering.

Food preparation: I have my food handlers certification and I have 5 years of experience as a dietary aide in a hospital.
Housekeeping: I have 4 years of experience as a housekeeping assistant at a hospital. I have lots of practical and scientific knowledge about cleaning and sanitation.
Healthcare: I recently completed a degree in human nutritional sciences with a minor in health sciences. I also have one year of experience as a healthcare aide.
Agriculture: I grew up on a farm so I have experience with a variety of plants and farm animals. More recently, I worked on an organic vegetable farm and gained hands-on experience with planting, weeding and harvesting.
Mentorship: I have held many leadership roles and completed multiple leadership programs at my university.
Youth and elderly: I have worked and volunteered with youth in educational programs, art lessons and soccer programs. I've also worked with seniors in care homes and hospitals.
Social Media: I have worked as a social media manager so I am familiar with photography, videography, graphic design and website design.
Swimming: I took swimming lessons for 8 years so I received training for CPR, First Aide and lifesaving .
