Hello!
My name is Hana, and I’m currently a student at the University of Koblenz. I’m in my final year of earning a Bachelor’s degree in Education, with the goal of becoming a primary school teacher. My main subjects are German and English – and that’s exactly what brought me to WorkAway! 🤓

As part of my studies, I’m required to spend at least three months in an English-speaking country. My dream destination? Definitely Malta! I mean, what more could you ask for than beautiful nature, sunny weather, and the sea right around the corner? 🌞

I’m planning to stay in Malta for three months – from mid-August to mid-November – and I’m really looking forward to this experience. 🇲🇹
Hopefully, I’ll find a great host soon! ☺️

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Over the years, I’ve gained a variety of practical and creative skills that I’d love to share! I enjoy baking – especially cakes – and often surprise friends and family with sweet treats. I’m also very comfortable with general household tasks like cleaning, organizing, and helping to keep a space cozy and tidy.

I love crafting and DIY projects, and I’m always up for getting creative with new ideas – whether it's for decorations, gifts, or fun little projects with kids. Speaking of which, I have a lot of experience with children and truly enjoy spending time with them. Whether it's helping with homework, playing, or just being a caring and patient presence, working with kids is something I’m really passionate about.

When it comes to languages, I speak German (my native language), Bosnian/Serbian/Croatian (my other native language), English, French, and a bit of Turkish. I’d be more than happy to help with language learning or even teach some basics – whether it’s German or another language I speak.

One of my strongest qualities is being well-organized. I love planning, creating order, and helping things run smoothly – whether it's in a household, a classroom, or during events.

Overall, I’m a positive, curious, and hands-on person who’s always ready to help and learn something new!

I played volleyball in a higher league for over 10 years, and it’s still a big passion of mine. I also enjoy watching and playing basketball whenever I get the chance – I just love team sports and staying active!

In my free time, one of my favorite hobbies is baking cakes. I find it both creative and relaxing – and of course, it’s always great to share something sweet with others!
