Description

Hello! I am passionate about connecting to the earth through diverse communities, arts, earth work (such as gardening or farming), and sustainable living. I am especially interested about learning and working towards building green homes/architecture to create a future of living in harmony with our wonderful planet. I have recently received my Master's of Arts in Ecopsychology, which focuses on the interconnection between humanity and the earth, recognizing the importance of respecting all of nature. I have a vision of creating a eco-village in the United States one day that provides a place for wildlife to flourish, sustainable food to be grown, and people to heal. I have been working as a gardener using organic practices this season, have worked on a local sustainable organic food farm for a season, and have done work-stays across the world. Other things I hope to learn more about are plant medicine, herbalism, permaculture, and horticultural therapy. Looking forward to connecting!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have experience working on a local sustainable organic farm as well as doing gardening and landscaping using organic practices.
Through my graduate coursework in Ecopsychology I gained knowledge in therapeutic ways to connect to the earth and understand the energy of nature.
I have a lot of experience working with people in a variety of settings - schools, teaching English, coaching soccer, doing construction projects, working in a mental health facility, etc.
I love writing and would love to help you with media/marketing (I know basics) and photography.
My main interest is in continuing to gain skills/expertise on working with the earth and building sustainable architecture/homes.
In my free time I am outside a lot ~ roller blading, biking, backpacking, hiking, new to climbing!, or playing soccer. I also enjoy upcycling materials to create something useful/unique/cool, writing poetry, making jewelry, and painting!

I love to learn, create, and meet new people! My passion is around creating spaces that lead to a more eco-centered future, allowing people to come back to their roots and respect life, nature, and love. I also am interested in learning how other cultures handle grief and aging/dying as I believe this is a necessary and beautiful part of the life cycle that is especially overlooked in American culture. I hope to build a connection and enjoy tending to life together.
