I think language is important to be able to learn about a culture and also discover similarities with languages. Many terms and phrases can be interchangable and its fun to discover those. I also think that teaching my own native tongue to others can be a stepping stone in developing countries, especially in the tourism sector.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
Having done many, many things over my lifetime I would say that finding solutions and overcoming challenges is something I do well. I have worked in construction, administration, resort work, restaurant work, first responder, environmental, engineering, labor, teacher, mentor...just to name a few. My ability to improvise, adapt and overcome challenges has helped me throughout my life and I look forward with anticipation and gratitude, this next phase of my life!
IT WAS SUGGESTED I BE MORE SPECIFIC WITH SKILLS:
I was a working Carpenter for about 17 years. I have operated most power tools. I can operate some lighter duty dirt moving equipment (back hoe/ mini ex, bobcat) I have used testing equipment for electrical and plumbing and I am able to evaluate and test most kinds of machinery.
I have taught simple carpentry tasks. I have shown people how to apply for building permits online. I have helped Architects and Engineers understand how complicated, technical submittals (and follow up) are handled.
I have taught first aid and CPR. I have shown new employees how to use safety equipment. I was trained in and helped mentor others in avalanche control work.
I have helped in design work and consulted for a company building an Eco Farm in Albania (Bote Farms). I enjoy being creative but also understand the need for following guidelines and building codes. I will post a couple additional
photos of some work I did last summer. I have a Sprinter Van that I use to travel in the US (and Canada) when I am 'home'. Feel free to DM me for additional information.
