Hi! I'm Grace, a 23 year old from Devon, Uk.

I've lived by the sea for about 10 years now and its been great! Being able to walk to the beach and go for a swim is one of my favourite things to do. Where I live there is a real community feel, especially because I've worked at a very local pub for about 2 years you get to meet so many kind, interesting and lovely people. I'm always keen to have a chat to anyone and discover their life story!

I am keen to make a difference in the world, hence the interest in travelling. No matter what way, I wish to meet new people and make good connections. I am artistic and creative, my friends and family would describe me to be quite chill yet organised. I always try to be as positive as possible and always encounter situations with a smile. Culture has always been something that I've been interested in ever since I watched my first episode of Anthony Bourdain's Parts Unknown on the couch with my Dad when I was younger. I was entranced by how food became a way for people to learn about someone's culture and country. From that day on I knew one of my life's goals was to travel the world and learn from others.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Worked in face to face customer service for nearly ten years. Ranging from working in retail (shops), restaurants (as a waitress) and bar work. Built up a strong work ethic and a familiarity of working long hours while maintaining a positive attitude. Working at a restaurant sparked a love for food and hospitality towards others. Where I learnt how to create an inviting and comfortable atmosphere for people when they came to dine. A sense of reliability and flexibility from working in hospitality, happy to always have a go and try my best. Through working at a local pub I gathered the responsibility of opening and closing the pub when working on my own and became attentive and organised when working in a fast paced environment.

Open to helping around the house with cleaning and organising. Happy to help with walking the dogs and helping out in the garden, I just want to spend time outside and enjoy nature in all its glory. At the same time curious to pick up and learn new skills and meet new people.

I have studied Fashion Design in London for a year, where I learnt to sew and construct garments. I've just completed a degree in Politics and International Relations where I've expanded my skill set working with a range of people and obtaining knowledge of how the world is organised.

Experience of creating social media content for small businesses. Taking photos of products and creating social media posts to advertise the products. Using Canva, Capcut and video editing to create eye catching social media posts. Happy to help people develop a social media following for their business.

I love animals, I have a dog and walk him most days. My love for animals has now grown into a frequent house / pet sitting gig, sometimes I've been offered to look after friends and families dogs or cats. I recently stayed at someone's house and looked after their cats for just over a month! I've always been an animal lover and would like to learn how to care for larger animals such as sheep and horses.

I love swimming in the sea and camp in the summer at the local beach with friends. I love food and learning to cook new meals. I'm not a fussy eater AT ALL and I'm always up for trying new things. Sitting around the table with a good meal at the end of the day is one of my favourite things!

Although I don't study it anymore fashion has always been an interest of mine. Ranging from sewing to documenting and styling outfits. I've recently started an online blog / brand to share my love for fashion and document how the arts is just as important as any other subject. I'm specifically interested in how fashion can influence political power and how trends online can add to the direction of politics (my research area that I'm looking into for my politics degree!).

I also participate in yoga practice and enjoy trying to do it daily. Its become something that I've grown to love and always feel amazing after I finish. If this is something you're also into I would love to practice together. I'm not great at it but that's not the point of yoga and why I love it so much, its a non judgemental activity!
