Hi! My name's Giulia, I'm 22 and I live and study in Bologna, Italy 🌻
I study Economics, Politics, and Social Sciences but I'm finding that true knowledge comes through action, by seeking change and connecting with the right people.
Before uni I spent a year travelling solo across Australia, working in hospitality and following my intuition, which made me realise how much I value travelling as a way to challenge my worldviews and beliefs.
I grew up in scouts, so spending time outdoors, sleeping in tents, doing things with my hands and volounteering is very natural to me. I'm not afraid of physical work, I'm grateful to use my mind and body for good. I've been living independently for a while, so housework, cooking and taking initiative come easily.
I'd be thrilled to learn gardening, self-production, permaculture skills and any other kind of knowledge from hosts and volounteers. I cook simple plant-based food and love experimenting together with whoever's around.
I practice yoga (I'd loove to learn more and practice it with others) and Muay Thai, enjoy hiking, biking and dancing. I'm also into creative and DIY tasks, making or fixing things, decorating spaces.
This summer I'm coming to Spain for about a month, to practice Spanish (I've started learning it this year) and to immerse myself in a community where I can contribute something real and connect with wonderful people 🌞

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have experience in organizing activities, DIY and creative decoration projects, cooking plant-based meals,and childcare through au pair work, scouts, and past jobs. I started gaining gardening skills especially through past workaway experience. I'm very comfortable around animals and I'm used to managing cleaning and household tasks independently. My scouts background taught me teamwork, responsibility, and practical skills like knot tying and outdoor cooking. I'm active and have good physical endurance.
