Hello!
I’m Gina, I’m currently 19 years old and I love traveling and creating memories all over the world.
I consider myself a very energetic, optimistic and enthusiastic person who loves adventures, steping out of my comfort zone and everything realated to traveling and discovering new things.

Since I was 3 months old, I have been traveling with my family with a motorhome all around Europe, and when I was old enough to do so I began solotraveling, something that has become a lifestyle by now.

My family and I have been hosting workaways at home for over 12 years, and it is thanks to this website that I have met some of the most icredible people (who taught englishto my sister and I) and created some of my favourite childhood memories. I will always be grateful to my parents for letting us live this experience from such young age that opened a door to the world I never thought existed.

I am a big passionate of nature. I am a very outdoorsy person, who loves sports especially running and hiking, but also skiing, climbing, dancing … or any other activity! However I also enjoy staying at home sometimes to spend time with the people I love, reading a good book, journaling my life and from time to time, also watching a movie.
In 2024 I gradauted high school and decided to take a gap year. I knew I had to grow as a person, leave my hometown, discover myself and the world. So I did. And I had the most wonderful year ever. I worked full time for few months to save up money, and once I was ready, I left. I solotravelled around a few European countries, lived in Romania for 6 months while volunteering in high school, and also backpacked South East Asia with my sister (probably the best trip I’ve ever done so far!). Last september I came back home and I started univeristy, a degree in Global Studies in Girona since I would like to become a diplomat one day. Even though I am enjoying my studies, it has not been easy, because I miss traveling so much and all the freedom it brings me, so I am determined to travel as much as I can anyway!

I have learnt over time that traveling is not about rushing, about checking as many places as you can… for me it’s more about actually getting to know the place you visit, getting involved with the local community, it makes the experience more meaningful and special, which is exactly what I am looking for.

Workaway has brought so much joy into my life, I’ve been able to meet amazing people and learn so much about them and now that I am finally abl e to live it myself, I know it would be great to live this experience the other way around!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I believe I am a very adaptable and flexible person who loves challanges and facing new situations daily. I’m very social, open mindend, extroverterd and friendly. My energy is usually always on top and I’m always down to anything that comes up.
I consider myelf very responsible and organised, I always have a schedule but know how to fit spontaneously fun to it!

I have experience babysitting kids and teaching as well (any subject from primary to secondary school). Languages have always been a great interest of mine and I speak spanish, catalan , english and french (and well, I am currently learning dutch!).
I have also previously worked in a supermarket and an ice cream place during the summer season, since I live in a very tourisic seaside area.
