Hi! During my bachelor’s and master’s in political science I have learned a lot about the world, the structures around us and the people living in it. However, since everything is so theoretical and I have lived in the same country my whole life, I would love to put my skills to the test in a more practical way and while doing so explore a little bit of the world! I would love to help other people, exchange world views with them and hopefully in this way learn from each other :). I’m really into stuff like photography and film and would love to do something creative, but can of course do other stuff as well. That’s about it for now i think!

I like to think I’m quite good in learning and speaking new languages, so I would definitely be willing to learn new languages and pass my language on to others. Dutch and English are the only languages I speak fluently, German, French and Frisian I have limited knowledge in.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have a lot of knowledge on stuff like post colonialism, gender and sexuality issues, democracy, inequality, you name it. My practical skills lie more with creative stuff, like photography and filmmaking, but I can also do other stuff of course. I have been a dishwasher and cleaner before, I can drive, I like to cook, take care of nature, stuff like that :).

As mentioned I am really into film, so I am always up to watch something or talk about films for hours. I would also probably describe myself as an introverted extravert. I am always up to have a chat and hang around and definitely get energy from others, but I also need to balance it with a bit of me time every once in a while. I am therefore quite flexible and can adapt to someone else’s needs, whether they want some alone and quiet time themselves or have a chat :)
