Hi! Ciao! Cześć!

We are Gabriela and Tosia, two sisters from Poland who would love to explore the world together! We share a deep love for nature, mountains, animals, kids and all kinds of outdoor adventures! We are both responsible, smiling and full of energy. We are not afraid of any kind of work and are always very eager to learn. The idea of volunteering, exploring the beauty of nature and learning new skills while meeting passionate and inspiring people really attracts us!

Gabriela:
I have some experience with Workaway projects as I've been travelling with my friend during the summer holidays since 2021. (You can see our account here: https://www.workaway.info/en/workawayer/natgab0302/overview). Now I want to share the joy of Workaway with my younger sister! Over the past four summers, I helped with childcare and housework in small villages in Italy and France; I also worked in a kitchen and with cleaning at a mountain camp for children in Italy and in the scouts center in Slovenia. On a daily basis I study Italian Philology (Italian language, history, literature and culture) at the university in Warsaw but I feel most at home surrounded by fields, forests or mountains!
I truly appreciate the opportunities that volunteering has given me - it lets me fulfill my dreams and relive my childhood adventures by climbing trees with some kids, playing hide and seek in the rain, sleeping in haystacks, or spending nights in a treehouse :) And all of this combined with learning new skills from truly inspiring people!

Tosia:
I've just graduated from high school and I'm really excited to start my first bigger adventures. Although I don't have much volunteer experience yet, I can't wait to learn new skills while travelling. I love animals, and I took care of dogs, I enjoy playing with children, cooking, baking and trying out new recipes from cuisines around the world. Whenever I find a free moment, I love going outside with a book or hanging up a hammock in the park and just relaxing.
My recent trip to Iceland was truly unforgettable: the waterfalls, volcanoes, glaciers, and the unique Icelandic horses made me realize how many beautiful places there are to discover and how important living in harmony with nature is to me.

We both love mountain hikes, climbing, long walks with our dog in the forest or in a countryside where we often go during the weekends and free days, cycling trips, playing volleyball, badminton and other sports. Being outdoors make us happy but we also really value quality time with our family or just a quiet moment with a book!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Gabriela speaks fluent Italian and is eager to share her knowledge with whoever wants to practice Italian! We can also teach you some Polish which is is our native language.
We completed a basic obedience training course with our dog and have also cared for the dogs of friends and neighbors. We truly like working with animals! We would also be happy to help with taking care of the house or the farm, gardening and general cleaning. We have experience looking after children and we enjoy spending time with them.
We are excited to learn new skills! We are not afraid of any kind of work and are very eager to learn. All we need is a little explanation at the beginning, if it's something new for us :)
