Hello everyone.
You can call me Franzi :) I'm from Berlin, but I grew up in a village or the “countryside” of Berlin as many would say. That means, I grew up with lots of greenery, woods, animals and, unfortunately, lots of little blood-sucking creatures like mosquitoes ;). I had rabbits in my garden for many years, and since almost 10 years I have a dog that owns my heart. Being able to spend so much time outdoors, surrounded by family, friends, animals and plants has made me the frolicking and balanced person I am today. And it shaped my interests for sure. Because I actually like exploring the city, getting to know new cafés, talking to people and, above all, seeing new things in the world: traveling. And yet I always like to come back to this oasis of calm, garden a little or watching my herbs grow. Aside from my passion for dancing, languages and plants, I also enjoy photography, painting and cooking. I am also able to sew, crochet and use a screwdriver. Call me old-fashioned. ;)
If I could help others with my knowledges, I would be really happy. Because I think we should share a lot more with each other! Life is too boring alone or always in the same bubble...
Some of these things also shape my everyday life at university: I've been studying landscape architecture since 2022 and can make vegetation and drawing my “profession”.
Maybe one day I'll be able to make my own contribution to a more beautiful environment where everyone feels safe and everyone has a good life. Creating places that can tell stories and convey emotions. And now I have an incredible desire to see something new in the world again. To put my feet on foreign soil, get in touch with new people and help each other! :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I'm still very new to the world of workaway. But at least I've learned something in 20 years, I hope ;)
I can sew, hammering isn't a problem either, nor is painting walls. I love gardening and planting! Herbs, veggies and some flowers are my specialty. I like making kids laugh and playing little sporty games. And of course I love animals (snakes excluded) and would be happy to take care of them, feed them. And above all: I´m a really creative head: I like to draw, to paint with watercolours or acrylic, to shorten my trousers, and I love taking photos, both analog and digital. There´s nothing I wouldn´t try to do on my own when it comes to creativity, DIY is my sport. Sometimes I´m kind of poetic and write a couple of sentences about life :)
Besides that, I´m able to talk in english and in spanish (and german as it´s my native language). I also do have a driver's license.

Autres infos...

I love good board games! The best thing is always getting to know new ones :). Of course Uno is a classic one! And "Stadt-Land-Fluss" is always a good idea!
Some more interests of mine are skiing or hiking in the mountains. I love the sea and the ocean and would love to learn how to surf one day... Actually I should be able to ride a horse, but I would definitely need a fresh up. And as I´ve said before, I´m really into dancing, so I know the basic steps of a waltz, salsa or some line dances. But officially I would never admit it ;)
