Hi! We’re Solène and Félix, a French couple (25 yo) traveling through South America in search of meaningful cultural exchanges and practical learning experiences.

We’re both passionate about discovering cultures, connecting with people from different places, and deepening our understanding of Latin American cultures. What drives us is curiosity, openness, and the desire to be useful while learning, whether that’s helping out on your land, contributing to a community project, or learning alongside you.

We’re particularly drawn to projects that align with values we care about: social justice, biodiversity preservation, sustainable living, and climate resilience. If your work touches on any of these, we’d be especially excited to get involved!

Who we are:
Félix:

Solène:
- Background in History and Political Science
- Curious about local history and traditions
- Enthusiastic about helping with practical tasks like construction, gardening, and working with animals
- Eager to improve her Spanish through immersion and conversation

We don’t come with all the answers, but we bring our energy, adaptability, and genuine desire to connect and collaborate. Whether it's helping on a farm, supporting ecological projects, or sharing daily life, we’re excited to roll up our sleeves and be part of something meaningful.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We both grew up in the countryside, so we’re naturally comfortable with manual work: taking care of animals, gardening, or working with the land.
I (Solène) grew up on a horse farm and got used to doing all kinds of tasks that come with that environment, like feeding animals, cleaning, doing some maintenance, and helping out wherever needed.
We’ve both taken part in various fruit harvests (especially grape picking), so we know the work can be tough, but we’re still up to the task!

We’re also pretty good in the kitchen (we think :P)! We have a handful of dishes we enjoy cooking, and even when we don’t know a specific recipe, we’re always up for trying and learning, with some help. I (Félix) love experimenting with new experiences, I brewed my own beer for instance.

I (Félix) also have beginner skills in electricity and roof framing, thanks to helping my dad (a carpenter) on many home projects. I've also tried woodworking, building small furniture, wooden board games, painting and decorating.

When it comes to childcare, we both have experience babysitting, and I (Félix) have also taught at university level, so I'm fine with teaching or supporting with homework if needed.

Last but not least, I (Solène) am passionate about music and dance, and love getting involved in creative or artistic activities!

Solene: I like reading, swimming and being around children and animals!
