My name is Eileen, I'm 31 years old and from Germany. After I've studied psychology and worked a few years, I now quitted my jobs to travel through New Zealand and South East Asia for a year :-)

I'm an open minded person who loves to have new experiences, visit new places and connect with people. I love all kind of animals and to be in nature, preferably close to the beach ;-)
What I love to do is taking care for others - is it for animals with duties like cleaning, feeding, walking, cuddling; or for other people f.e. in a hostel or café with duties like greeting, serving, giving information, cleaning, ...

I love water sports like surfing and diving, I like to be outside in the nature, I enjoy listen to music, sing or dance, spend time with other people, or sometimes just relax and read a good book.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

- Hospitality and hostel life:
While studying I worked a few years in a café as a waitress and in a local Bed and Breakfast at the reception and at the bar. In Australia and in New Zealand I already worked in a motel and in a hostel where I was at the reception (managing bookings, check-ins, ...) and did housekeeping (cleaning bathrooms, kitchen, doing beds and laundry).
As I travelled a lot and always stayed in hostels I have a feeling for what is important for guests to feel welcome and enjoy the stay. :-)

- Farm work and work in an animal shelter:
In Australia I worked on a flower farm and did flower picking and planting. Also I did wwoofing on a horse farm where I helped with feeding, cleaning, fixing fences, and looking after the 5 dogs and chicken of the owner.
Furthermore I worked twice in an animal shelter in Portugal with 100 dogs and cats, helping with cleaning, walking and socializing. :-)
I'm capable to do physical work and I have no problem with getting dirty. I love to take care of animals, provide them everything they need and give them some love back.

- Computer skills and office tasks:
From my job as a psychologist in an university I have experience with different computer programs, data entry, project management and organizing smaller events. So I am also happy to help with any kind of paperwork, booking systems, emails oder phone calls, managing websites, etc. :-)

- Interest and experience with photography :-)

I am keen and hardworking, always motivated to learn new tasks (and learn fast) and have an eye for detail. It's important for me to follow instructions, but I'm also proactive and see what needs to be done by myself.
