Description
I've lived in Maine for most of my life aside from five years in New York City. There's a big world out there and I'm determined to see as much as I can. Hopefully along the way I will learn how to sow and grow healthy roots and branching skills.
I'm a firm believer that love is the main fixture of life and can be found both in nature and each other, so when I venture into the world, into intimate spaces both natural and man made I intend to do so with consideration, an open mind, and a full heart.

Human context is frequently contained in individually expressed languages and there is so much lost in translation. I have some experience in romance languages, but am interested in learning any and all languages to better understand and care for those around me.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I have an odd and expansive skill set ranging from a bachelors degree in Biology to farming experience on the coast of Maine. My degree gave me lab experience as well as technical competency in that field. I've worked in kitchens as a chef and briefly as a barista. I had a small farm composed of many blueberry fields, and bunches of animals, which required me to learn about the ecosystems and landscapes of Maine, how to farm sustainably, how to raise animals and tend to crops, how to run and tend to a tractor, how to build structures for the land (ie, coops, greenhouses, sheds), and how to use a variety of power tools.
I worked in customer service for upwards of 7 years at various establishments, but at each job I made it a point to curate positive experiences between customers and coworkers. I was an assistant manager at a high end hair salon in NYC and am happy to work at a faster pace with a lot of face to face interaction.
I also worked as a nanny for many families over the course of the past fifteen years, which because of my inherently curious nature, worked out splendidly for all. I enjoy fostering a love for music, art, nature, and cooking in all of the kids that I have worked with.
