Hello! My name is Ellie Brown-Wolf and I am 26 years old and from the mountains of Colorado, USA. My family, friends, and dog are the most important things in my life. The more I've traveled, and heard stories of people's lives outside of my own, I realized how many people in the world can benefit from smaller acts of kindness and passion. Whatever circumstances someone grows up in, it is our duty to band together as humans and help each other. I'd like to continue furthering my education (of Spanish, and global cultures) while donating my time and energy to a community.
Currently I’m looking to meet new people on a deeper level.
Id like to learn about cob and earth-building, as well as permaculture and other ways of sustainable living.
I have experience as a baker, a gardener, and a listener.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

With Workaway I found a nonprofit called the Nuluka Foundation. I lived and volunteered with them in Colombia for almost three months. There I learned how to teach English to various groups of kids.
Since then I have been a ski instructor, deepening my educating experience.
My favorite jobs were working as a baker and as a plant attendant in a greenhouse.
As a field manager and canvasser for the Colorado Public Interest Group, I Raised money and signatures for non-partisan public health issues and routed groups of employees on canvassing terrain. Before that, I worked as a landscape team member for the Town of Frisco, where I developed and maintained gardens for two years. Finally, as an executive board member for a leadership development group and the University of Colorado, I planned events, developed curriculum for leadership programs for staff and student organizations, and presented leadership workshops to staff and student organizations.
All of that experience has turned me into a balanced and patient leader with a good work ethic when I'm inspired by what I'm doing. My specific skills are educating, skiing, gardening, and baking.
