Hi, I'm Élisabeth from France :)

I am expected to finish my Master's degree (in Environmental science & policy) this summer and I am in dire need of finally touching some grass!

I've always been very creative and handy and I would love to finally spend more time designing solutions, using my hands to build things from scratch and working outside no matter the weather.

Over the years I've learned some traditional masonry techniques while restoring a medieval castle, taught myself how to sew/knit/crochet, learned welding to fix a piano I had found in the streets, practiced and taught woodwork as a scout chief in summer camps, learned essentials to maintain a vegetable garden with my grandpa, worked with countless animals (in a barn, petsitting, and caring for reptiles), learned how to install solar panels, and overall used every chance I got to turn ideas into practical and fun projects with usually few materials available.

I'm adaptable and comfortable with autonomy but also very adventurous and eager to learn from others and share!

I'm happy to teach French or English to children or adults in the family :) I want to improve my Dutch but find it very difficult to practice from abroad so I'm hoping to have an 'immersive' experience to practice more intensely!

- Woodwork (making things from simple tools to elevated beds in trees!)

Overall I'm a super quick learner when it comes to picking up practical skills!
