Hello! My name is Eli, I am a 21-year-old student from the United States, Chicago to be exact. I just finished studying for a semester in Spain and am looking for new adventures (South/Central America is on the list). I love meeting new people, nature, a good beer, books, languages, and a lot more. I am very much a go-with-the-flow person and am open to just about whatever comes my way. I love the friends I have grown up with but many are not quite into the travel I am looking for so new travel buddies.

I think my best skill is my openness to try and learn new things.
I am a native English speaker and although I am hoping to keep speaking Spanish, I am more than happy to take part in an exchange.
I have tons of experience with kids. I spent multiple summers as a nanny and have a ten-year-old brother whom I am very close with.
I am studying data science and economics at university and am therefore pretty skilled at all things digital.
I am physically fit and able to do whatever manual labor.

I will treasure the time I had with Bea and Marco for a long, long time. They are incredibly kind, funny, and welcoming people. I felt immediately at home with them and all my needs were met. Bea's cooking was delicious, the bedroom was private and clean, and the garden was truly gorgeous.

ELI est resté à peu près une huitaine de jour chez nous et tout s’est très bien passé car Eli a de bonnes capacités d’adaptation ; il parle très bien le français !
Il a décapé et entretenu une vieille fenêtre, préparé le terrain et planté ails et oignons, ramassé feuilles mortes et géré le compost. Le temps étant pluvieux nous avons alors mené … read more

Eli asked to volunteer for a few hours each day and he did so graciously for a week It was his first experience but I think he learned a lot in the short time he was here.
