Hello! My name is Elif, and I am from Istanbul, Turkey. I work as a Sustainability Consultant and Regulatory Expert, helping companies improve their environmental and sustainability performance.
I joined Workaway because I would like to experience everyday life in different countries, meet people from different cultures, and improve my English. I believe that travelling is not only about visiting new places but also about sharing experiences and learning from each other.
I am a friendly, respectful, responsible, and tidy person. I enjoy cooking, spending time with animals, especially cats, and helping with simple household tasks. In the past, I had a lovely Scottish Fold cat, so I feel very comfortable looking after pets.
In my free time, I enjoy travelling, watching movies, listening to music, exploring nature, and discovering local food and culture.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have more than 15 years of experience as a Sustainability Consultant, Regulatory Expert, and Project Coordinator, working with international companies on environmental compliance and sustainability projects. My work has helped me become well-organised, responsible, detail-oriented, and a good problem solver. I have experience coordinating projects, managing schedules, communicating with clients, and ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently.
I enjoy cooking, helping with simple household tasks, ironing, and taking care of pets. I have experience caring for cats, as I had a Scottish Fold for many years, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals.
I am comfortable using computers and Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. I can help with administrative tasks, organising documents, preparing professional presentations, conducting research, and providing basic support with social media if needed.
I have a driving licence and enjoy driving. I am always willing to learn new skills, adapt to different environments, and help wherever I am needed. I am reliable, respectful, tidy, easy to get along with, and I always try to bring positive energy to the people around me.
