Hi there, my name is Evangeline, but I go by "Vange".

I was born and raised in British Columbia, Canada, but travel was instilled as a priority from a young age. Through my family's extensive travels I found myself in many museums, heritage and archaeological sites. Being captivated by archaeology I went on to get my bachelors degree in archaeology and worked in archaeological consulting for five years.

Working in archaeology has facilitated more travel, completing physical work in harsh conditions and working with a variety of different communities and industries. I enjoy learning from others, and I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty.

I generally enjoy being outdoors, with much of my free time spent scuba diving, hiking and downhill skiing.

My work in archaeology has resulted in a lot of physical work-- let me know if you would like a square hole dug. But this translates to me being well suited to help with gardening and yard work. I don't have the greenest thumb, but I am good at following instructions and knowing when I need to ask for help.

I was a lifeguard and swimming instructor for years and I am a certified PADI rescue diver, so I am competent and comfortable around water: could supervise children or new swimmers and work on or around water crafts.

I am no chef, but can cook basic meals and happy to tidy, clean, do laundry, etc
