We're keen to meet people who've moved to Central Portugal, or are locals. We're happy to help with the occasional small short-term project nearby.

Description

We're based in central Portugal and would like to explore Europe to discover a new place for us to potentially move, We're travelling with our well-behaved and gentle dog, Jet, in our little camper and would love to meet people that have either moved to the countries we're visiting or are locals.

We're only travelling for 5 weeks, so would only be able to do a few short-term visits. However, we're self-sufficient and will be sleeping in the van, so can pick up and run with jobs if you have some ready to go projects.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We live in a semi-off grid tiny home in the Portuguese mountains, which we built from scratch. This means we're comfortable managing a solar set-up plus compost toilets etc.

A trained gardener, Ed is handy doing construction work, landscaping (strimming etc), and organic gardening. Sal's super skills are cooking, preserving/fermenting, weeding, sanding, painting and varnishing.

We've done plenty of housesits looking after cats and dogs. These days, we bring our dog, Jet, along. He's well-behaved and good natured with cats, dogs and other farmyard animals.

We've also looked after Airbnbs for friends - Sal achieved superhost status before! So we're happy helping to look after children or guests if needed.

When we're not working online - Ed as a software engineer and Sal as a comms strategist - we like to get outside in the great outdoors - whether it's getting out on the bikes, hiking in the mountains, or swimming in lakes or the sea. We also like practicing yoga, calisthenics & breakdancing - to stay flexible, but more importantly have fun!
