We are interested in learning about permaculture and organic farming with a vague aim of trying to start our own project. We are spending some time visiting ecological farms and learning the wide range of skills that we might need going forward.

We are hard working and adaptable people. We have spent time on a couple of organic farms where we performed a wide variety of different tasks; ranging from digging a pond and clearing paths to chopping down trees and planting seedlings.

We had an excellent time with Lorrain. We stayed for two weeks and spent our work time doing mainly construction and gardening. We did tasks such as pruning olive trees, using cob to fill in a wall and chiselling away at a wall to reveal the stone underneath. We would generally make the food as well. Ed and Eve were real wonderful help during 2 weeks! A good mood, real easygoing, cooking good food, no problem even with physical works, and respectful of the place, people and animals. Ed and Eve, were the most fantastic volunteers. Extremely capable and energetic, happy to get stuck in with hard physical work and skilled at many diy jobs.
