Hi all,

I am Dora from Hungary. Here to connect with NGOs and communities from all over the world.

After spending more than a decade in the corporate world I decided to quit my job and build a life that is more aligned with my values. I have recently spent 6 weeks in Sri Lanka through Workaway and discovered how much new places, people and cultures inspire me. Now I am looking for ways to make social impact while traveling around the world.

I LOVE teaching and working both with children and adult groups. I am a psychology graduate, coach and I am currently in the 3rd year of an art therapy training course. I’d like to use my skills and experience in places where people need them the most.

In my free time I love spending time in nature, hiking, having good conversations over delicious meals, doing yoga and meditation.

I am also a self-development nerd and love learning about the human mind, body and soul.

I used to tutor children (age 14-16) during university and it was definitely one of my best jobs. I loved preparing for the lessons and explaining grammar and vocabulary to my students. I speak English fluently and would love to find creative ways to teach English to children at a very young age.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am a psychology graduate with experience in the corporate world (I used to work as a corporate trainer and human resources manager) so I am good at things that require:

planning and organization
communication
teaching
leadership
project management

I also love working with children and I have some experience with teaching English for beginners. My dream volunteer job would be working with kids using art therapy.

Aside from the above I also have a yoga instructor certificate and I am good at taking care of animals (especially dogs ❤️).

I am also comfortable doing physical work. Years ago I volunteered in a summer camp in the United States where I was responsible for gardening, painting houses and cleaning.
