Description
I am really passionate about independent traveling. What I love most is learning about lifestyles that are much different than mine. My native language is English, and I speak Spanish but could use some practice. I am a graduate student in Kentucky and love learning and want to earn a PhD after I earn a master's degree. What makes me happiest is making new friends, learning, traveling, and music. What motivates me is my love for my friends and family, my desire for new culture and education, and teaching others about different ways of life.

I've been traveling to different countries since I was 17 and love to travel independently. I'm from the U.S. but lived in Spain for 2 months to learn Spanish, I stayed in Nepal for a month to study Tibetan Buddhism and conduct research, I've visited briefly to Portugal, and stayed in Costa Rica and Belize for a few weeks as well.
I love gardening and have a plant collection that I'm very proud of and I love organic locally grown food and supporting farmers. I worked with horses and other farm animals when I was younger, I've taught my Spanish speaking community English, and I have a lot of experience working hospitality jobs.

My hobbies consist of hiking, gardening, going to concerts, wood carving, and spending time with friends and family. I am really outgoing and can make friends with anyone, I love kids, and I have experience caring for special needs children.
