Description

Hi! I am a structural engineer based in London, where I have been working for the past 8 years. I did a year of workaway after university, and have decided to give it another go this year.

I love DIY including carpentry, joinery and furniture making. In 2022 my partner and I purchased and completely renovated a house in East London where we live currently, doing much of the work ourselves. My job is pretty handy for this stuff as well.

We are an environmentally conscious couple and we try to limit the size of our footprint on the earth. We have re-wilded our small garden as much as possible (it was completely concreted over when we moved in) and have some small beds where we grow organic vegetables... In our spare time we like to hang out with friends and go bikepacking round the UK and beyond.

We are hoping to help out with sustainable building projects, DIY odd jobs, gardening, eco-farming etc. In our spare time we hope to do some reading, hiking, maybe some meditating/cycling, and of course meeting new people and hearing new stories!
