I’m a semi-reformed computer nerd who loves the philosophy of backyard adventuring. I like tackling physically hard tasks without being prepared or a beefcake (no harm to beefcakes). I recently stepped up my love of tough stuff with early morning sunrise mountain hikes in Indonesia, and I would love to do whatever the equivalent of that is around your location.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I’m generically physically able and love to get stuck in to hard problems. I’ve used a bunch of the heavier garden tools but am most happy with gloves, an axe, and a pair of secateurs. I’m no mountain of a man but I can be a real nutjob when it comes to clearing up flood debris. Coming from a computer desk job background, I love to learn, solve, and use manual tools. I would love tasks that will keep me fit, engaged, and able to sleep with ease at night no matter the amount of coffee.

My favourite sports right now are climbing/bouldering and hiking/trail running. I come from surf country in Northern Ireland but moving to London forced me from sea to stone. I love sport but mostly the independent type - I am too terrible to participate in most team games. I love nature, and I love combining sport with nature. I’m keen to try anything, and I like indoor hobbies too like reading (sci-fi) and board games (catan).
