Hi my name is Dana, nice to meet you!
I am a 23 year old Australian who has fallen in love with travel. I have recently resigned from my job of 5 years to persue a working holiday overseas. Before I start paid work again, I aim to travel and volunteer for a few months all over Central Asia.

I have a huge interest in learning about the people and cultures of the countries I visit, not to just pass through quicking. I believe this is best achieved through volutneering and language exchange.

In the past, I have hosted two Japanese students during highschool and also stayed for a short language exchange in their home too. These experiences helped me understand a different culture first-hand and I cherish these memories dearly. It also is a great way to discover oneself. The more I learn of different ways to live life, the more my values have changed for the better.

I like to be involved in charity work when I can. I have raised money for local veterans in the past. Also for the last 3 years I have raised money for cancer awareness. I enjoy giving back to communities and would like to do more in the future.

I love food, and like to try many traditional dishes when I visit countries. I like to cook and bake for my family, and I would also like to cook for others when I travel . It would be amazing to learn new recipes from fellow travellers and community I am visiting.

My favourite places to travel are those with beautiful landscapes that I can hike around. I love nature as it is healing. It is also very beautiful to photograph.

My hobbies are photography, hiking and jigsaw puzzles! I also love listening to music. I think sharing music is a great way to get to know people. I also often carry card games such as UNO with me when I travel, as it is an easy way to have fun and bond with others.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have 6 years of professional retail experience, and 5 years corporate (finance) experience. I also completed high school and then one year of university studying education (elementary school).

My workmates describe me as a consistant and detail-oriented hard worker. I can comfortably assist with cooking, housework, gardening, admin work and caring for pets. I am also open to learn new skills such as building and am happy to receive constructive criticism.

I am an amature photographer with interest to improve my skills. I love to capture nature, day-to-day life and architecture most. If you would like to give me a chance to photograph for your social media I would be happy to.
